Busy Status app privacy policy
Privacy Policy
Effective: January 19, 2026
Busy Display is a local network status display server that runs on your macOS desktop. Devices on the same local network can connect via browser to view and control the display. No data collection, tracking, or transmission to external servers occurs.
Data Collection
- No personal data collected. The app does not access user accounts, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any personal identifiers.
- Local network only. All communication happens exclusively within your local network (LAN). No internet connectivity or cloud services are used.
- MIDI input. Optional MIDI device input is processed locally only—no data leaves the device.
- Webhooks. Optional webhook endpoints accept HTTP requests from your local network only. No data is stored, logged, or forwarded externally.
- QR code. Displays local server IP:port for convenient access—no tracking or analytics.
Third Parties
No third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising, or tracking libraries are included. App Store receipt validation occurs locally via Apple’s APIs.
Security
All operations are local-only. No authentication is implemented as the app is intended for personal/home use within trusted networks.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. No COPPA-covered data collection occurs.
Changes to this Policy
Updates will be noted in the app release notes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
