Frequently asked questions

How do I exit a playing slideshow?

Press and hold anywhere on the screen for 3 seconds. A white ring fills in at your touch point — when it completes, DigSig returns to the main menu.

How do I add photos or videos?

Go to the Library tab and tap the + button, then choose files or a whole folder from the Files app. Once imported, add them to a playlist from the Playlists tab.

Why does DigSig ask for camera access?

Only if you enable “Dim When No One’s Around” in Settings. The camera is used locally to detect whether someone is near the screen so it can dim the display when the room is empty — nothing is ever recorded or sent anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Why does DigSig ask for location access?

Only to calculate local sunrise/sunset times for scheduling and auto-dim. You can skip this and enter coordinates manually instead, in Settings.

Where is my data stored?

Everything — your media, playlists, overlays, and settings — stays locally on your iPad. DigSig has no account system and does not sync or upload anything.

How do I add a frame or logo overlay?

Import a transparent PNG in the Overlays tab, then attach it to a playlist from that playlist’s settings.

Can I schedule different playlists at different times?

Yes — the Schedule tab lets you trigger playlists by clock time or relative to sunrise/sunset, on selected days of the week.

More help in the app
