Privacy Policy for DigSig

Last updated: 9 July 2026

In short: DigSig does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything the app touches — your photos, videos, playlists, and settings — stays on your iPad.

DigSig (“the app”) is a photo and video slideshow player developed by Marta Cybulska (“we”, “us”), based in Barcelona, Spain. This policy explains what information the app accesses on your device and, just as importantly, what it does not do with it.

Data we collect

None. DigSig has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection to any server we operate. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere. This is reflected in the app’s Apple Privacy Manifest, which declares no tracking and no collected data types.

Media you import

Photos and videos you import are copied into the app’s private storage area on your iPad (its Documents folder) and are used only to build and play your slideshows. They are never uploaded, synced, or shared with us or any third party.

Camera access

If you enable “Dim When No One’s Around” in Settings, DigSig uses the front camera to detect whether someone is near the screen, so it can dim the display when the room is empty. This detection happens entirely on your device in real time. No image or video frame is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted — the camera feed is analysed and immediately discarded. This feature is off by default and can be disabled at any time in Settings.

Location access

If you grant location access, DigSig uses your coordinates once to calculate local sunrise and sunset times, which can be used to trigger scheduled playlists or auto-dim the display. Your coordinates are stored only on your device and are never transmitted. You can decline location access entirely and enter latitude/longitude manually instead, in Settings.

Third-party services

DigSig uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks of any kind.

Children’s privacy

DigSig does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Your rights under GDPR

DigSig processes no personal data on our behalf, so there is no data held by us to access, correct, export or erase. If you believe otherwise, or have any question about how the app handles information, write to marta@cybulskaart.eu and we will respond within 30 days. As a Spain-based developer we fall under the supervision of the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), with whom you may lodge a complaint.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example if a future version of DigSig adds a feature that transmits data — we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above, and reflect the change in the app’s Apple Privacy Manifest.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or any request concerning your data, can be sent to marta@cybulskaart.eu.

For help using the app, please use the support page instead — it reaches maciej@tyaudio.eu and gets a faster reply.
